Chapter 281: The Upgraded Nemesis and Major Meeting Part VI

Chapter 281: The Upgraded Nemesis and Major Meeting Part VI “E ...er, so there’s a high rate of success in producing, right?” Wisana found it hard to speak.

“Well, my teammates have improved their levels a lot, so our product turns out with excellent quality, as you see. Oh, currently, I’ve been working on developing an item as well. It’s supposed to have a significant effect. So, I’ll try to complete it before we get to the war season.”

“Sure, I’ll look forward to that.”

He tried not to look Warunya in the eye, because his foot was still hurt from getting crushed. And that made the gorgeous girl from the alchemist class who had now upgraded to be an item creator and became the chief of the green label item production, giggle.

“How about you, Mister Mek, how’s the red item production doing?”

Right after that, Wisana turned to the man with the monocle. And he smiled widely in reply, slicking his hair back with a gesture like a high-class man before he replied.

“It’s going well, too, Boss.” The man named Mek grinned. “I’ve made trade deals with those mineral sellers from different towns to send raw materials of those gunpowder, dragon excrement, magic crystals, and metal sheets to us.” He said as he counted his fingers. “And for the minerals, I’ve been relying a lot on Chief Warunya to produce them for our unit. Er, about all that I’ve been saying, I get them at an extremely low price.”

The man named Mek stressed the word “low” at Manoch who was sitting next to him, before they laughed knowingly only for the two of them. After that, Mek slicked his glossing hair up one more time, before continuing.

“The products like element books, magic books, weaponry like bullets, arrows, knives, shuriken, and all those launching types of weapon, we have a lot of them in storage. So, we don’t have any trouble with our production lines right now, and we’re quite ready for war. Anyway, when the time comes, I’ll still be able to buy raw materials, but at a bit higher price, since everything gets expensive during the war period. That’d be all.”

“Good. So, keep producing the red-label items, I think we’ll need to use a lot of them. I have to count on you now.”

“Will do, Boss.”

The man with a monocle replied delightedly like he was happy to be trusted by Wisana this much. After a while, the head of the table took another paper from Maysa.

“How about you Manoch? Is the blue label line good?”

“We’re okay.” Manoch replied smilingly, “Currently, we’ve been rushing to make suitable weapons for every member in our guild. According to the survey I got from Chief Maysa, most of our members are warriors who mainly use swords, second to that are the mages, and the last are gunners and archers. So, I’ve been developing weapons that meet everyone’s needs. And about the guild uniform, we only have one design for male and female. For its qualities, I’ve made it fit for anyone in any class. I’ve made it light and durable. If you sell them in the market, they can be around five hundred thousand each.”

Hearing Manoch said that, everyone exclaimed “Woah” in unison. There was only Wisana who whistled out. This was the only thing that he did not even have to assign a task because Manoch would be handling it for him impressively anyway.

“About other weapons, we’ve been working on them as well. But don’t worry, before the war season comes, I’ll create some dope weapons for the chiefs like us who are the main damage in the war for sure.”

Wisana nodded at his words. He was pleased that his guild members worked systematically like this. In the past few months, they had been gaining many players to form such a large group, so they could work together like an organization. However, he could still feel the warmth as if they were family in this Nemesis camp. Everyone smiled at each other, working in harmony.

And that was the thing that Wisana liked the most!

After that, the meeting went on. Wisana continued talking to the rest of the chiefs until he talked to the chief of HR who was in charge of taking care of those common members named Flint. He was tall and thin, about 25. His report did not have any trouble.

“The members ask for more good-looking NPCs to work as maids to take care of their tents, that’s all.”

Flint reported that with an emotionless face. Wisana promised him that he would discuss this with Manoch later, but he did not promise that this would be approved, because those good-looking NPCs came with a high wage rate that would make it hard to open the money pocket of Manoch.

After that, he talked to the chief of the animal care unit named Wyne, and it seemed like this unit had the biggest issue going on that could give Wisana a lot of headaches. Because there were many animals in the camp that were affected by “dragonpox.’ It was a disease that made animals weak and inappetence. There was a remarkable rate that they would die after they got sick. That was why Wisana asked Waree to compound some potion for the cure, and she affirmed she would try, but she could not assure everyone that it would succeed in three days.

An hour and a half felt like a short time. Their talking had been going on simply. They agreed to open for new members. The budget and the tasks would be assigned to those chiefs according to the necessary.

Finally, the head of the table like Wisana stood up and talked to close the meeting.

“There’re only five days left before the war season comes. So, please hurry and finish every project you’ve been working on. And if you have trouble with anything, feel free to report it to me right away, so we can figure out the way to fix it in time. Any questions?”

Wisana asked with a smile, while everyone was sitting still.

“You’re free to go then. See you again at dinner. But if someone has something to do in another town, I don’t mind. I’ll contact you when needed.

After their leader’s voice, everyone got up at the same time. There was a sound of a chair creaking on the floor continuously, followed by a chattering sound all the way out. Manoch, who was about to walk out of the room, too, decided to turn back to Wisana again.

“I’ll go check on those packages I ordered. If you need anything, you can leave it with Enrique.”

“Yeah, go do your job. I’m finished.”

Wisana replied, before sitting down again, as well as the two girls who refused to get out of their seats. Waree was writing a do-to list, while Maysa was not any different, she was taking note of all the details she just got and placed it in her folder orderly.

“Na.”

Maysa called his name without looking at his face, and her tone sounded completely different from a moment ago, like night and day.

“Yes, Babe?” The cheeky one had enough of roleplaying as well now.

“Why are you sitting here? Don’t you have work to do?”

Maysa did not look at him. She managed to bring her information window and a keyboard out, before typing something fast on there. Wisana raised his eyebrows.

“Work?” He repeated. “What work?”

“Nice question. There’re only three days left before we have to attend the meeting that will be held by the council of Tristan. And two days after that, the season of war will begin. So, you’re not going to do anything to prepare yourself for that?”

“And what is that thing you’re talking about, Miss?”
