Chapter 844 - 377 New Identity_2

Chapter 844: Chapter 377 New Identity_2Lin Wu: "Please, don’t protect my safety, just let Bodde mess things up, okay?"

The police officer left without a word. Lin Wu: "Please, if I don’t go back, the gold will be completely gone. I have many accomplices, all very capable."

The police officer ignored him completely, infuriating Lin Wu to the point he kicked a fence, hurting himself. His gaze fell on the lock which surprisingly showed a system prompt: Metal can be opened.

Damn! I really am a thief. Lin Wu

Blood Meng took a few steps closer, lifted Lin Wu’s chin with two fingers: "Did you upset Dawn?"

Lin Wu: "Don’t think too much. Just get me out."

"Why should I?" Blood Meng countered.

Lin Wu was startled: "You..."

Blood Meng: "Just so happens."

Blood Meng received a call, saying they had caught the person who stole Bodde’s gold. Blood Meng couldn’t care less about the gold; she was planning how to use her identity to pull off a big job at the police station, grab a bunch of weapons, and go straight to the top. Then she came to scout the police station, where Police Officer A told her that Lin Wu wasn’t talking.

When Blood Meng heard Lin Wu’s name, she was shocked beyond control, so she immediately flipped through the files and found an evidence box with a letter inside. Upon opening it, she saw a blank letter, clearly meant only for Lin Wu to read.

After speaking with Police Officer A, Blood Meng came to visit her unlucky sworn brother.

Blood Meng pulled Lin Wu’s ear and whispered, "You get me guns, I get you out."

Lin Wu asked, "Do you know where I was caught?" It was really uncomfortable being yanked by the ear.

"Of course."

Lin Wu asked, "What does my file say?"

Blood Meng: "You’re a tourist from Day After Tomorrow City, staying at a motel. The file shows that you indeed stole the gold. What are you looking at? Looking for trouble?" Blood Meng pointed at Hummingbird. Hummingbird immediately lowered his head, not wanting any trouble. No wonder he dared to mess with Bodde’s goods, turns out he was in cahoots with the chief investigator.

Lin Wu reminded, "You’re not a special agent right now, you’re a police officer."

Upon hearing this, the old man also lowered his head. What kind of special agent was this commanding? So audacious, might just silence his own kind in a moment.

Makes sense. Blood Meng waved over a uniformed officer, "Take him to my room; I want to conduct... an interrogation, personally." She left with a soul-hooking smile.

Take it, take everything, whatever brightens the willow and sparks the flowers, whatever breaks the game. For the sake of the brothers, what’s pride?

...

Blood Meng’s office wasn’t large. After closing the door, Blood Meng sat on the desk, pointed at the chair in front of her, and Lin Wu obediently sat down, grinning at Blood Meng. Thirty years from the east bank to the west bank.

"Little thing, you’re not enough for me to eat in one bite," Blood Meng had seen enough, got down from the desk, and said, "Choose one, first path, stick with me. I’ve already arranged a helicopter, someone else is gathering materials for me, tomorrow morning we fly to a deserted island 50 kilometers away, where you’ll enjoy six months of paradise-like life. I’m pretty good at outdoor survival, you know."

Blood Meng: "Second path, help me steal stuff. The stuff will be mine, and I’ll take responsibility for sending you back to the motel."

Lin Wu asked, "Steal what?"

Blood Meng: "Weapons, of course."

Lin Wu: "You’re the chief investigator, how can you not have weapons?"

Blood Meng pulled out a handgun: "Just this lousy handgun. Do you think police can just take any gun?"

Lin Wu asked, "So, steal the guns from the armory on the fly?"

"Definitely not." Blood Meng pointed upward: "The 34th floor is the storage area, full of seized illegal items. I took a stroll there; there are submachine guns, rifles, even rocket launchers. The problem is, security is extremely tight; I need your help."

Lin Wu asked, "How can I help?"

"I’ll divert security staff, and you sneak into the storage, then repack the weapons and lower them to the 18th floor." Blood Meng pulled out a notepad: "I’ll arrange for you to be in interview room 2. You’ll go out from the window of the interview room, climb to the 34th floor, and I’ll meet you there."
